VUSD Blueprint for Educational Excellence and Innovation

One of the goals of VUSD's Blueprint is that students demonstrate high levels of literacy in English (reading, writing, listening, and speaking). At Madison, English teachers are teaching digital reading and writing using Chromebooks. Other content area teachers are supporting English Language Arts by teaching students to cite textual evidence to support an assertion. Follow the link to learn more about The Blueprint

Our Fabulous Friday event to kick off the year of 2015 is going to be a Crazy Hat and Hair Day! Your mission is to design a crazy, fantastic, colorful hat with 100 pieces or parts on it! For those that don't want to wear a hat, there is also the option of having crazy hair. This activity will be held in celebration of our 100th day of school! Crazy Hat and Hair Day will be Friday, January 30th. Remember to do your hair at home - no hair color or sprays will be allowed at school. Can't wait to see your crazy hats and hair!

Help Support Vista Teen Outreach

VTO is the organization that oversees the donations for Madison's food pantry. Please consider stopping by Nucci's any time on Tuesday, January 27th to either dine in or take out. A copy of the flyer must be presented, and VTO asks that you bring a nonperishable food item to donate. Thanks for helping Madison families in need.
