VUSD Blueprint for Educational Excellence and Innovation

One of the goals of VUSD's Blueprint is that students demonstrate high levels of literacy in English (reading, writing, listening, and speaking). At Madison, English teachers are teaching digital reading and writing using Chromebooks. Other content area teachers are supporting English Language Arts by teaching students to cite textual evidence to support an assertion. Follow the link to learn more about The Blueprint

Students will be returning their textbooks through the ELA teachers on the following dates. Parents please remind students that their textbooks will be due according to the following schedule. Anyone with outstanding textbook dues or library fines may be held back from participation in end of the year activities.

VISTA TEEN OUTREACH

 

Vista Teen Outreach is a non-profit organization run by community volunteers.  They are providing food pantries at various schools throughout our district.  Hungry students are allowed to receive a backpack of food free of charge throughout the school year.  For more information about volunteer opportunities or donation needs, please visit their website at www.vistateenoutreach.org.
