VUSD Blueprint for Educational Excellence and Innovation

One of the goals of VUSD's Blueprint is that students demonstrate high levels of literacy in English (reading, writing, listening, and speaking). At Madison, English teachers are teaching digital reading and writing using Chromebooks. Other content area teachers are supporting English Language Arts by teaching students to cite textual evidence to support an assertion. Follow the link to learn more about The Blueprint

This Friday at Madison look out for a ghoulishly good time!

At lunch, ASB will be hosting a costume contest.

During 8th period Madison's creeps and creatures will take over campus with a Halloween Costume Parade.

Parent/Teacher Conference Days

November 18 and November 20

Conferences will be held from 1:00 pm - 4:45 pm

(Minimum day School hours for students)  8:55 - 11:55 pm

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

Conferences are most beneficial for students struggling academically (C or lower) in a particular subject.  If your student is doing well and you are comfortable with the class requirements and your child’s progress, a parent conference is not necessary.  Conference length is 15 minutes per teacher.  Please bring your student along with their backpack to the conference.
